The following information is for Deans, Directors, Career Counselors, Department Heads, and Teachers who want  an Artist As Brand® event at their college, university, or art institution.  I present a limited amount of workshops in a year so I encourage schools to reserve a date as early as possible.

I offer one, two, and three day versions of the Artist As Brand® Workshop. Three days are recommended to convey all the information in the course, and allows more time for individual attention. Limited to 20 serious students. Each day is a very full ten hours (10:00-8:00), with a one hour break for lunch and a half hour dinner snack.

~ ONE DAY WORKSHOP ~

Includes:

1. ARTIST AS BRAND® LECTURE
• Multi-media presentation of my professional journey in publishing, film, and popular art culture, as well as the historical premise of Artist As Brand.

2. ARTIST AS BRAND®  WORKBOOK
• The foundation of the workshop in a book. The Artist As Brand® Workbook is a resource and guide that is designed to walk you through the lessons. It is also to be used as interactive tool throughout the workshop.

3. DECLARE YOUR PURPOSE
• Participants will learn their Core Virtue. Knowing your Core Virtue is the first step to establishing a foundation which your career is built upon. This intimate part of yourself is a driving force in your life, and it goes deeper than your art. Declaring this core purpose aligns your heart with your art in a profound manner.

• Begin to design a personal emblem to represent your Core Virtue. Learn a conceptual technique to help you create it.

4. DESIGN YOUR VISION BOARD
• This powerful template visualizes how your art will target the exclusive niche markets that will make up your one of kind art empire.

• Learn the simple yet powerful art of business and commerce. Are you an art hobbyist or an art professional? This is a short lecture on straight up, common sense business practice. If you are selling art you are a business, start acting like one.

• Practice the art of the Blurb. Learn how to introduce and represent yourself to people. Most artists do not have a clue how to speak with others about who they are and what they do. This exercise is designed to increase confidence and generate interest in who you are and what you have to offer.
